This project has been “off and on” for several years with Audi, as you regular readers have learned of the earlier articles. But now it’s finally here, at the eleventh hour before the generational change: Audi RS 3 Sportback. The entire project is based on the wonderful fifth grade turbo Audi got the green light to “resuscitate”, not least because they wanted to get back.
The hotted up version of the Audi A3, called RS3 had been rumored before and now it appears to be a very serious contender. As you see in these pictures, disguised in S3 Sportback clothing it is flexing its muscles in the Ring!
* Five-cylinder turbo delivering 250 kW (340 hp) and 450 Nm (331.90 lb ft) of torque
* Zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.6 seconds, superior pulling power
* Seven-speed S tronic, quattro drive and 19-inch wheels
