Audi Q7 2011

Q7 family. The Q7 3.0 TDI offers 150 kW (204 hp) while consuming an average of just 7.2 liters of diesel per 100 km (32.67 miles per U.S.gallon) – better than all direct competitors. At the same time, a 3.0 liter V6 drives this large SUV powerfully and smoothly. An eight-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive round out the luxurious drivetrain.

The new V6 TDI in the Q7 is a high-tech engine. It weighs far less than 200 kilograms (440.92 lb) and extensive measures minimize internal friction. Innovative thermal management – a new feature of many Audi engines – is particularly complex in the 3.0 TDI. The crankcase and the cylinder heads have separate cooling water circuits; coolant is not circulated within the block while the engine is warming up.

The EU 5 classification for this new entry model in the Q7 family will come as no surprise, just like its high fuel efficiency. On average, it needs 7.2 liters per 100 km (32.67 miles per U.S. gallon). And its CO2 equivalent is just 189 grams per km (304.17 grams per mile) – no other large SUV from a European brand boasts such a low value. The efficient TDI delivers 150 kW (204 hp). Its maximum torque becomes available just above the idling point: 450 Nm (331.90 lb-ft) remain constant between 1,250 and 2,750 rpm.

This large SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 9.1 seconds. In the version with an optional air suspension, it reaches a top speed of 205 km/h (127.38 mph); with steel suspension, 202 km/h (125.52 mph).

The Q7 3.0 TDI with 150 kW (204 hp) offers the same power transmission as all other models in this line. The new and efficient eight-speed tiptronic – with its high overall gear ratio – delivers torque to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive, which has a sporty rear-end bias. Double wishbones made of aluminum guide all four wheels; the chassis delivers great agility and stability. An off-road mode and a hill-descent assistant aid off-road driving.

With a wheelbase measuring 3.00 meters (9.84 feet) and an overall length of 5.09 meters (16.70 feet), the interior offers plenty of room. Audi offers the Q7 with five, six or seven seats. The luggage compartment offers as much as 2,035 liters of capacity (71.87 cubic ft). This new entry model’s standard equipment package includes two-zone deluxe automatic air conditioning, a high-beam assistant, and an MMI radio multimedia interface.

Despite a generous equipment package,Justify Full this model line’s new entry model costs just 51,800 euros in Germany. This basic price makes the Q7 more affordable than all of its direct competitors.

Audi R8 Spark Eight Eisenmann 2011

Eisenmann has long been the acme of superior performance exhaust systems. For the first time the exhaust specialist has transformed an entire vehicle. The highest standards, which are hallmarks of Eisenmann, also apply to the carbon aerodynamic package, the alloy wheels, the chassis, and of course the exhaust system. This converts the Audi R8 into the Spark Eight by Eisenmann.

Not only does the aerodynamic package contribute to its ultimate visual effect, it also improves the functionality of the super sports car from Ingolstadt. The components significantly improve the driving dynamics and the load distribution between front and rear axle. The new carbon outfit includes the spoiler with grille and fins (7800 Euro including VAT), the brake cooling chambers (1260 Euro), the front splitter (1800 Euro), the rear spoiler with grille (4800 Euro), and the rear diffuser (3800 Euro).
It goes without saying that exhaust systems are the domain of Eisenmann. The Spark Eight by Eisenmann is fitted with a performance stainless steal system, with a gigantic tailpipe exit in the center of the rear spoiler (4600 Euro). This warrants a one-of-a-kind visual effect. Thanks to the flap control system, sound and optimal performance can be controlled with the push of a button. As an alternative Eisenmann offers an exhaust system with four stainless steel tailpipes (3800 Euro) that can be combined with the standard rear spoiler. The retro-classic intake funnel (1200 Euro) and the two oval tailpipes (1000 Euro) provide the look of the R10.

Eisenmann also ensures that the improved chassis matches the upgrade of visual effect and sound. The new shock absorbers with four performance springs (3850 Euro) increase the driving dynamic for even more agile handling characteristics. The 235/35 (front) and 315/30 (rear) tyres mounted on 8.5×19 inch alloy wheels ensure a solid grip (complete set available for 7300 Euro).

For the Spark Eight by Eisenmann, visual appearance, sound and performance enter into a perfect symbiosis. All of the above is based on experience Eisenmann has amassed in motoring. Many years of research and development for racetracks and motorways alike have merged into an unrivaled project.

Audi R8 Reviews

Audi R8

The stability of the Audi R8 is a surprising level and also conveys a sense of security could hardly have made cars to be as fast cornering. Dynamically, the Audi R8 is the motor sports centre or rear more like a sports saloon.

Audi R8
The Audi R8 is a two-seater coupe with rear central engine of 420 hp, aluminum chassis and traction total. The Audi R8 has a similar size and a Lamborghini Gallardo or a Porsche 911 Turbo.

Audi R8
Audi R8

Audi has done the Audi R8 coupe with a dynamic qualities very convincing. For the response of its engine and the chassis tuning, is as satisfying as the best sporting a similar price.

Audi R8
Audi R8

A Porsche 911 is clearly more demanding with the driver and only higher than the Audi R8 for its extraordinary capacity for braking.

Audi R8
Audi R8

A BMW M6 coupe is a luxury faster in a straight, but is far from being a sport as the Audi R8.

Audi R8
Audi R8

The worst of the Audi R8 is its manual shifter (six speeds, with a clutch bi-disk), because sometimes marches come with difficulty. If the change had no grid, maybe things would improve greatly.

Audi R8
Audi R8

An alternative may be the version of the Audi R8 with automatic change 'R-Tronic' and has more controls sequential and a lever on the steering wheel. This change is an automatic motorized variant of the manual is not a change of clutch double as the "S-Tronic 'other Audi models (" DSG "in Volkswagen).

Audi R8

The brakes of Audi R8 meet, but neither has a particularly good touch, nor stops the car at short distances to be expected from a car as well. Later the Audi R8 may take some option of disc brakes composite material.

Audi R8 Engine

Audi R8
Audi R8

The engine is very good from the standpoint of benefits and the response to the accelerator. It is an engine rotation speed (upload speed with strength to over 8,000 rpm), but almost any regime surprised because it has a very direct and forceful response to accelerator, which makes it very pleasant to use.

Audi R8

The drawback is that this car is that you have a very high consumption, even at a moderate pace highway.

Audi R8

The Audi R8 has many drawbacks for everyday use in town because the body makes little visibility in some corners and you need plenty of room to rotate. It has two seats and a small trunk and little usable.

Audi R8

Within the spectacular of his body, has plenty of site for two occupants, including high-class, and access to or exit from the interior are only limited because the seats are very close to the ground (the doors are large enough).

Audi R-Zero specs
Top Speed: 286 mph / 460 km/h
0-60 mph: 3 seconds
Engine: Four electric in-wheel motors
Among the major head turners in 2006 car shows was the 2006 Audi R-Zero Concept car. Audi has truly outdone itself with this one. The supercar exemplifies the perfect union of the dynamism of sports car designs and the importance and respect it gives for the environment. How's that you might ask? The Audi R-Zero is an electric car.

So if you think all environmental friendly hybrids and other cars are boring and attractive, the 2006 Audi R-Zero Concept car will definitely change your mind. The original concept was a product of the minds of an ingenious group of students hailing from the International School of Design, ISD France. The R-Zero sports car will be equipped with four electric in-wheel motors as its engine. Each engine will be powered by lithium-ion 800 volts batteries that are capable of releasing great mass of power, not less than 450 watts/kg in fact. The supercar will have an estimated weight of 2.2 tons (4,850 lbs), given that the batteries will weigh around 1,200kg and the four engines around 340kg, plus the body weight and accessories. Torque is expected to reach 2,168 lb-ft while horsepower is set at around 1,091 hp at 12,900 rpm. With individual batteries providing power to each individual engine, the sports car is estimated to go at a top speed of 460 km/h (286 mph), with the fast car capable of going from 0-100 km/h in less the 3 seconds. Now, who's going to say that an environmental friendly, electrical-powered car is sissy?
